Who we are

We are a small (3 hectares) radical natural winery working on volcanic soils in the Mátra Mountains of Hungary.
Our vineyards are farmed organically. All fruit is hand-harvested.
Fermentation is spontaneous. Aging happens in amphora.
We bottle without fining, filtration, or correction.

No enzymes. No cultured yeast. No stabilization.
Nothing added. Nothing taken away.

Why Mátra

Mátra is one of Hungary's most volcanic regions. Basalt, andesite, rhyolite.
High elevation. Cool nights. Long growing seasons.

This is not a "new" terroir — it is an underrepresented one.
Our goal is not to polish it for the market, but to let it remain raw.

Our philosophy

We don't chase consistency.
We don't correct vintage variation.
We accept instability as part of the wine's life.

Cloudiness, sediment, green or raw fruit aromatics are not flaws —
they are signs of living wine.
